Peppa Pig is a children's programme telecasting on Channel 5 and Nick Jr. The narrator of the series, John Sparkes, reinforces the action and humour, saying things like "Oh, dear" when something unfortunate happens (such as George starts crying) or "Look out!" when a character is doing something unsafe (such as Peppa riding her bicycle without looking where she's going). His shirt is red and his shoes are black. However, he is most well known for his gigantic crush on Suzy Sheep. Max also feels a sense of regret for a lot of his thoughts, as his life is generally decent. He tends to bottle up his own emotions, coping with them by help others. Max usually appears stressed and flinches at even the slightest noise. Being the oldest child in his family, Max takes a lot of responsibilities around the house.
